In April, we bought a half dozen bags of potting soil at two bucks each. After filling all our pots, we were left with one extra bag. Desperate to keep at our goal to sell one thing a week, we posted this bag on Craigslist for $2. To sweeten the pot, we threw in this heavy 60# bag of pea gravel languishing in the garage.
An hour later Tony was picking it up, $2 in hand. In the vault!!
Since last April our “stash of cash” has grown to just over $6000 with bills of all shapes and sizes. You see, it doesn’t matter the size of the bill, what matters is that we keep at it!! Come next winter, this bag of dirt would probably be sitting out for a curb alert. Instead, $2 could easily buy lunch in Laos.
What will we dig up next week?
