Bend Oregon

Yeah, we’ve been here, done Bend: almost every Memorial and Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, the random beer function. There’s always a good time to visit dog-friendly Bend. As you can tell, we like coming to Bend in Central Oregon. They’ve got the high desert scenery, hiking, The Ale Trail, and Hali’s mom lives here. Great pit stop.

What normally takes us three hours to drive from Portland, we took nine days. And it’s worth it! FREE Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a real two-man, one-dog bed, and all the niceties of a home. Plus, a doting mom who brings out goodies because she’s good at it, and it’s all good!

For Carlos, everything is familiar: the stairs, the river, Cricket, the grassy front yard, the bed. Time for some R and R for the old guy. Don’t worry, he’s not sitting on the porch smokin’ a stogie and playing poker with Cricket. He’s still hiking, fetching sticks in the river, and lounging on the patio of his new favorite local brew pub-10 Barrel.

Thank you Audrey for your hospitality and continued support. We love your spot, the neighbors who have become our friends, all the goodies you bring to the table, the washer and dryer, and a big comfy bed for the three of us.

The Bend pit stop. Fuel for the soul.
