As fall approaches, I think back to this day along the Willamette River in Oregon.
I believe it’s the only time we ever sat as a family for a professional photographer. A portrait sitting we picked up at the school auction. And getting Carli to sit still even for a split second was quite a task. Just to get her to leave the leaf alone took some effort~a gentle pinch perhaps.
Carlos is not in the photo so I’m guessing it’s the autumn of Carli’s first or second grade. He would be in the picture the following year.
So as we get closer on our road trip this fall to Florida, I’m excited to explore the change of seasons and colors along the way.
For the moment, this trip down memory lane will suffice.
