This May will mark our 30th Anniversary of our first trip to Europe. With twenty pound packs, Eurail passes, and a fist full of travelers checks we had three months to wander as excited young tourists through ten countries by rail.
On a backpackers budget and short on space in our packs, shopping for souvenirs was left only for our final stop in Amsterdam. From there, we had a Dutch friend help us package and send a big box of gifts home ahead of us.
Along the way though, we sent home postcards. Moms and Dads got them, Sisters and Brothers got them, Grandparents got them, even the dog got them. But there was one condition with us sending these and keeping these folks posted on our travels~we wanted them back. These were OUR souvenirs and life-long memories, THEY get the big box of gifts. Sure enough, we got them back.
And here I am resending out postcards again~this time you can keep them.
